On the road again

You know sometimes you think you have it all figured out
and you know just what to do in order to get what you want
and well you go about doing just that. You're set and ready
to get on that path, you know it all you tell yourself,
i mean what could go wrong? you ask yourself.........

So you pack your belongings and get on it, you almost at
your destination and then something totally unexpected
happens... and you're on your knees crying and asking the
Lord, "Why, oh why? i was almost there, how could you
let it be so? how could you let the devil win this way?"


Then something or someone good comes along and tells you
" Relax my dear, its always dark before dawn..."
Wow you tell yourself, this person is actually on to
something, let me push on.... But

It doesn't work like that now does it?
You've got to get your ass back right where you started,
but it doesn't phase you now, does it? Because oh no...
you have a secret weapon don't you?
those comforting words are your secret weapon, you'll
carry them with you till you reach your destination..

But as you get to the starting line, you tell yourself
that maybe this time around you're going to take a different
route, as the first route didn't really work for you now did
it?

So there you are, back on the road again, everything seems to
be going the way you planned, and along the way you meet some
interesting people, but you can't stay, you gotta go, coz you've
got a destination to reach. You part promising to stay in touch,
never knowing when your paths might cross again....

So you're back on the road again,but what you failed to see
was that this road you are travelling on is filled with wolves
in sheep skin, you come across one or two while taking a pit stop.
They ask you about the journey while offering water for you to drink
and cool off, before carrying on with your journey....

So willingly and kindly, you share the events of your journey,your
ideas,hopes and dreams for when you get there.They listen with a very
attentive and comforting ear... little do you know that your hopes and
dreams are no longer yours and the destination is no longer for you to
reach,

because as you speak they're planning and as you leave not once
noticing the fire that burns in their eyes,their crooked smiles;they've
already figured out the quickest way to get to to your destination,because
you see,they need to get there before you and put all your plans into action
and gain everything you were hoping to achieve,so that when you get there
there's nothing for you....

And woe and behold when eventually you get there to find just that!And with
great dispair you realise that there is nothing there for you there,so once
again you're on your knees asking the Lord Why?....Those comforting words you
once heard and got you this far mean shit to you now.....

So now you're bitter and resentfull and just angry at the world,but something
deep down inside you is not ready to give up,the little voice inside you says
keep pushing...you choose to ignore it cursing at God and everyone whose
willing to listen....

Every now and then you'd sit and ask God why?

And one day it dawns on you that maybe just maybe it wasn't your time as yet?
And maybe just maybe if you were smart you'd call up those good people you
came across and see what value they could add to your life....
And maybe just maybe this was never the path you were supposed to take
or Maybe just maybe you were supposed to learn something from this?

And the reason it keeps appearing in your life is because you're not
ready to see the truth.....

Then one day you realise that all these maybes that you were experiencing
that was God speaking to you....

The point is things happen , some have reasons and leasons and some DON'T
but its how you react to the situation that defines you, and what you're
willing to learn that builds character...

We all have lives to lead we all have destinys that we need to fulfill, our
experiences may be sometimes similar but the lessons are different.... and so
is the outcome

But i do believe that the people that you cross paths with, be it a good or bad
experience.... It ws never an accident, everything in life happens the way it
was and is supposed to.....
