I hold grudges
I think im clever
I think im smart
I think im cool
Convinced i dont need you.
You get frustrated
You get stressed
You seek resolutions
You think im mistaken
You think i'll learn
You think i'll grow
You know i need you.
Then i fall ,
And you catch me.
Then i cry ,
And you comfort me.
Then i break ,
And you heal me.
Then i fail ,
And you lift me up.
Then i fear ,
And you encourage me.
Then im lost ,
And you lead me.
And you know That i love you.
Simple and sincere. This piece depicts the bond and understanding between a mother and her child. The way she understands her child even though her words may be limited. I can almost here the little girl's voice and she speaks in short, simple sentences and I can almost see the mother listening, looking, holding, smiling at her and dreaming of the best for her. And in that understanding she has for her daughter she realises the simple things that her heart too longs for. Simple and sincere. A beautiful piece, a beautiful voice.
