Thoughts

Lately I've been thinking that
The beliefs that I've been raise with
And my very own are quite different.
I whole heartedly believe in God and I do believe in Jesus because his experiences (have people turn on you, hate you for no reason are the reasons why this world is the way it is.) However I also take a few of Buddha's teachings and I apply it to my very own life.

I've got questions about religion.
The answers I'll never get.
I find it strange that people are too quick to judge, too quick to condemn,
Too quick to dismiss and too quick to quote scripture to justify their unruly behaviour at that present moment.
I do not like this un-God like trait .
They would openly commit adultery,  theft,  yet claim to be holier than a person,  because a person doesn't go to church they call them all sorts of names yet they openly sleep with another woman's husband or man's wife.

Also I find it so offensive that the ones who claim to be saved look down on those who also practice tradition. They call them demonic and all sorts of evils.
This trait again I find un-God like.

I on the other hand am starting to believe that life is what it is.
I do believe before you are born one has conversations with God, he let's you pick your parents and your paths.  He advises you of the pros and cons. But we make the choices anyway.

I also am starting to believe that people use religion and traditions as forms of escape from their current situations.  A sort of multivitamin of sorts.
I'm starting to believe we use them to try and find an explanation of why this and that is happening to us, we use it as a form of hope, false security.

I could be wrong but these are my thoughts. ....
