To love and have lost
How deeply my heart felt for u
How deeply my heat beat for u
Oh how I loved you
You were everything and more
My light in from the darkness
My hope from despair
Oh how I loved you
The laughs that we shared
The warmth that we shared
The future that we planned
The kid that we have
Oh how I loved you
How deeply my heart bleeds coz of u
How deeply my hear hurts coz of u
Oh how disappointed I am in u
To love and have lost
The dreams that you shattered
The promises that you broke
The lies that you told
Oh how disappointed I am in u
U turn the love we shared in to something sinister
U turned it into something meaningless
U made it ugly
U turned me into someone whose bitter
U turned me into someone that's angry
U made me ugly
How deeply my heart felt for u
How deeply my heat beat for u
Oh how I loved you
How deeply my heart bleeds coz of u
How deeply my hear hurts coz of u
Oh how disappointed I am in u
How deeply my heat beat for u
Oh how I loved you
You were everything and more
My light in from the darkness
My hope from despair
Oh how I loved you
The laughs that we shared
The warmth that we shared
The future that we planned
The kid that we have
Oh how I loved you
How deeply my heart bleeds coz of u
How deeply my hear hurts coz of u
Oh how disappointed I am in u
To love and have lost
The dreams that you shattered
The promises that you broke
The lies that you told
Oh how disappointed I am in u
U turn the love we shared in to something sinister
U turned it into something meaningless
U made it ugly
U turned me into someone whose bitter
U turned me into someone that's angry
U made me ugly
How deeply my heart felt for u
How deeply my heat beat for u
Oh how I loved you
How deeply my heart bleeds coz of u
How deeply my hear hurts coz of u
Oh how disappointed I am in u
An honest expression of the progression of feelings from love, happiness and hopes to hurt, betrayal and dissappointment. Although the piece is deeply sad the short phrases and stanzas give it a feeling of strength and movement. Giving the feeling that the writer is not in any way bound by this seemingly recurrent hurt but that she is merely aware and honest about the depth of her feelings and that her life is moving on in spite of it all.
